I was going to post this earlier complaining about how this basically sums up all the ways in which metal has been slowly killing itself over the last 10-15 years.

This track sounds like the band poured through thousands of cd's from hundreds of genres and stole a bunch of things that sounded nice to them and mashed them all into one song in some effort to "progress." All anything like that achieves is complete regression.
Sounds like modern mainstream metal finally hitting bottom to me, sorry guys.

Dull, the only word that comes to mind.
It's like they've taken the melodic and vocal sound of FFAF added a deathcore breakdown, but failed to write any hooks.

i like this kind of music. it's different to all the other generic shit that keeps coming out.. and oli's vocals, although may sound shit, are different and recognizable and you can UNDERSTAND WHAT HES SAYING. which is rare..

no. good tones. less generic than alot of shit around these days.. which is why they are famous. and yes you can understand the lyrics alot easier than most of the shit in that genre.

edit: I posted that while listening in headphones. After listening to the song through my studio monitors, i'd have to say it lacks a bit of low end, and the snare is a little "weird". The guitars also seem a bit fizzy/grainy. I love that kick though

I pretty like it, there is some very good parts (chorus !!) and some weakest, but the songs sounds more mature than previous BMTH stuff, wich is a good thing IMO

I respect the band for trying to do something different, and every album they have released as been a progression from the last. If you listen to the first album, it's hard to compare them to the band they are now.

I'm not a huge fan of the band in general, but respect what they do. Compare this single to the last single they released.
