was it actually in the mag? I posted on the rock sound site that I wasn't because they had stated i was. Why did I turn them down? I couldn't relate to what they are doing, I didn't like anything about them. I'm sure they're nice guys and I wish them the best of luck but I have to hear something that I enjoy to do a good job and it's not fair on a band if I'm recording and mixing by numbers. Yes I do turn alot of bands down, some very big ones also for the exact same reasons.

Oh stop being so professional Andy; lol out with it!
THEY'RE SHIT! Hats off to you for turning it down though. They can't play for shit. and yes i think they do indeed own toni and guy endorsments;

Almost as funny as one of bmth's chums called Pen Knife Love Life. similar deal there; great hair; terrible band who cant play; we played with them once, and they showed up with no gear except drum sticks; and hair straigtners ( and spares!!) and demanded to use all ours, so we said fuck off

that is emo enough!
and its not emo any more! its 'hardcore' ( note the air quotes) although i was listening to hardcore when they bought their first avril lavigne album.

i think this is a reoccouring thing. ive heard many stories of PKLL and BMTH doing this, breaking other peoples gear in the process and stuff. pretty bad for 'signed' bands.. but meh. thats fair enough that you turn down bands andy. spose you probably get hundreds of bands wanting you to do their stuff and can afford to be choosy, i guess thats when you know you are doing well. :kickass:
