Why is it that whenever anyone posts genuine news about anything other than 100% US-centred material they post a link to a British news site.

Obviously non-English language sites wouldn't get posted that much, but is the news coverage in the rest of the English speaking world really terrible or something?

I guess it's just a question of coverage and online standing. The British press have been around for a long time.
