BTW: Nicko also plays on Pat Travers' 1977 release, Makin Magic. I have find my tape of that one, if I still have it. There are import CDs available of both Makin Magic and Putting it Straight on ebay, but the bids are relatively high ($25+). You can't find them at amazon.com or cdnow.com.

I just discovered that Putting it Straight (w/Nicko McBrain)(1977) and Heat in the Street (w/Tommy Aldridge)(1978) will be reissued in late January of 2003 and will be available at most record stores and at Best Buy. I am sure the quality will be MUCH better than my cassette tape! Unfortunately, no word on Makin Magic, yet? It was never released on CD.

I had Heat in the Street many moons ago in vinyl. I saw Pat Travers live at the Long Beach arena too but it wasn't Nicko playing then. Poo. Thanks for all the info Drumslut! DRUMSLUT! DRUMSLUT! DRUMSLUT!
