Anyone either heard of, or tuned into this program?

Bruce hosts program devoted to metal with interviews and music from various bands

its broadcast on BBC radio6 music. Program runs for 3 hrs and is on from 10am to 1pm saturdays. What better way to start the weekend than coffee, bacon and eggs and bruce on the radio!

He's been doing it for years. That's where he first dropped that Maiden were coming to Australia. I've heard bits and pieces, but it's not something I tune into all of the time. I suspect that it's rather like Alice Cooper's rock show here in Melbourne on NOVA. (Not sure if it's on in other states.) Basically just pre-recorded intros to songs.

had a look at the site, you can listen to the last program broadcast via clicking the "listen to it again" icon. Runs on RealAudio player. from what I can see there is no archive section, so once a new program is broadcast, the last weeks one is lost

would love to hear that interview with blaze though....

Basically they talk about Blaze's time with the band, why he was asked to leave (he blames pressure from the record company for the lack of album sales, even though album sales in general were down during the period anyway), and he sounds genuinely chuffed when Bruce compliments him on his solo work. Then he asks Bruce to hand out fliers for him when he's in South America. :)

Very civil and stuff.
