Bruce solo rumors...

The Maiden BB has been buzzing with news about Bruce writing with Roy again after the DoD tour is over... apparently, someone actually spoke with him on one of the Bruce Air flights and he said that he'll be writing with Roy in February...
if it's true... ABOUT BLOODY TIME! :hotjump: Yeah, I know he's been busy with Maiden and flying and whatnot... but I'd rather have one Chemical Wedding than 20 Dance of Death

He had originaly planed to hook up and do a new solo album between BNW and DOD, but it never materilialize. My guess is, as a father he ended up deciding to spend time with his family, as opposed to going into the studio again...

that guy is all over the place... between BNW and DoD, he went on tour with his solo band playing festivals in Europe (a bit of a mixed solo band, with members from Skunkworks and the Tattooed years)... then taking on the 6Music job AND the job at Astraeus Air...
On top of ALL that, Bruce and Roy actually wrote up some songs for the Three Tremors (remember that cool idea?)... it never materialized because Rob Halford wanted to strike while the iron was hot and do another solo record (which took FOREVER! and stopped Bruce from getting together with Roy... and also, Crucible kinda sucked)...
Then there was the Arjen Lucassen issue... that was another solo idea that never went through... this was because Lucassen opened his big mouth WAY ahead of time... otherwise Bruce's solo project could have been Ayreon's Star One...
Lots of things happened... hopefully, if he's writing with Roy... and Roy is working with Priest... Priest won't take forever to put out the reunion record...

Yeah, BBer Maniac618 was on Bruce Air to one of the shows the other night. The got the guy sitting next to him tape Bruce signing his stuff, and Maniac asked him when he was gonna be back in the studio with Roy. He said sometime early next year, I hope it's true.

I'm listening to The Chemical Wedding right now, one of the best metal albums of all time. It rules.

No, it was because Roy was producing Rob Halford second album and it took so long that Bruce & Roy had only time to write and produce 2 songs for the "Best Of..." .
I'm glad to hear that ruce didn't give up to his solo career like Halford did.
