hard to judge anything with a song like this.... but i'd say the snr sounds too mono.... not big enough for how slow this is!

You're right about the snare. And, I don't want to bring the OH's down too much. I like them being audible.

A lot of productions today seem to bury them like hell, in extreme metal that I listen to. I never thought it made sense that a kick would be WAY loud and a crash would be really tiny. D:

...what I may have been hearing is a lack of ambience/sonic space for them to bash away in!

not often you hear cymbals in an anechoic chamber =D
