Brutal thrash?

I'm looking for more bands that are brutal thrash but not quite death, bands like Exhorder, Demolition Hammer, Morbid Saint (kinda), Devastation but I don't want to get too far into death metal (bands like Solstice). I want that groove and aggression and sheer brutality without moving into death metal too far but also really has to have that production that kicks you in the face. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I also second the Incubus rec. Serpent Temptation is a classic album

Torture and Invocator are great and both fairly match the style I was looking for (I had heard them before) however stuff like the crown and the haunted and the modern groove stuff isn't what i'm looking for. If anyone has any more that are similar to Epidemic, Demolition Hammer, Exhorder or Devastation I'd really appreciate it. I know there has to be more bands out there with that style raspy vocals and heavy drum work and riffs that isn't death metal but i just can't find it. stuff like possessed is too death metal.
