Hey, I'm looking for some more bands in the vein of newer Malevolent Creation, newer Testament, newer Vader and so on. Bands that are almost death, but isn't quite the "AAAAAAAARGH SATAN" kind that a lot of bands these days are. I'm looking for well-produced, well-written metal that is heavy as fuck, but doesn't necesarrily use blast-beats and all that jazz. I hope you understand what I'm looking for.

I think the request is thoroughly confusing. Causing me equal confusion is why everyone is just recommending death metal, when he specifically requested it not to be. But that could just be the result of my first point.
