Download here.

I just got this program yesterday (some Guitar Centers still have it) and I've been playing with it since. The first part of the file is my DFHS emulation of the beginning fill in Sun of Nothing and the second fill is the actual thing. I think the rumble in my version is due to some conflicting low end frequencies. It's definitely harder than EZDrummer to get a good sound out of the box, but the unprocessed samples let you tweak it to anything you want.

Now I'm wondering if I should replace all the EZDrummer stuff on my current projects to DFHS, but that would be a hell of a lot of work. :yuk:

wow i actually like the dfhs sound a little more. the toms sound a little more natural to me.

+1 on that. I like BTBAM's snare more but otherwise you got pretty damn close.

BTW - EZDrummer and DFHS should be somewhat interchangeable. According to Toontrack the note mapping is the same but maybe I misread that? Their EZ Player Pro program will translate one to the other if it isn't already the same.

Thats true but I think the extra work he was talking about was probably all the processing of the samples.

Oh yeah, that. I wish I knew how to do that stuff. EZ Drummer is pretty damn cool but a bit on the lifeless and digital side of things...

Maybe its just my noobness showing but my drumtracks (using EZdrummer and DFH) are the things I'm most happy with. Sometimes I'll swap out the snare using SuperDrumFX but other than that I quite like DFH.
