In My Kingdom Cold
ITT we talk about shit that we'd like to do before we die

1) Learn how to work on a car. The ultimate goal would be to take an engine apart and rebuild it
2) Learn to play the drums. Not just play, though, but to get really fucking good
3) Drive through all 48 contiguous states on my own and just do random shit. Maybe pick up odd jobs here and there.

-Visit Europe (various countries)
-Learn to play Bass
-Get a college degree
-Have a son (and live vicariously through him :p)
-A bunch of hockey related stuff nobody wants to read about

- Master the piano; become a jazz pianist
- Get into super good shape
- Army special forces
- Economics PhD
- Become a music producer/have a career in music

I would like to learn the piano again as well. I can still play by ear and I should probably expand my musical horizons since I no longer play guitar.

-Take the train ride to Alaska.
-Visit Scotland. Fit Norway/Sweden in if possible.
-See a ghost/alien/have an out of body experience.
-Smoke pot that isn't shit while not already drunk (Short term goal)
-Get a job that I love, or that at least is a short commute and doesn't give me anxiety. (Intermediate term goal)
-Meet a nice petite, white, SINGLE, geek/metalhead chick, get married, not have kids. (Long Term Goal)
-Get Lasik and ditch the glasses.
-Go hunting, kill the animal, dress the animal, eat the animal.

Yeah, mine are kind of all over the place. And maybe not so much even a bucket list as...overall goals =P

I like both of these. I can do basic maintenance but a full rebuild would be cool.

2) Drive from the East Coast to the West and back.

Done it many times - be careful choosing your route and allow time to maximize scenery for best results.

I took lessons for like 15 years but never enjoyed it enough to really try to become great. Kinda regret that now.

Who said we are all gonna die?

Cryogenics brah.

Not necessarily a great one, and certainly never one that would be recorded by real instruments, but I have an aspiration to write a symphony before I die. I wrote my first semi-serious composition a couple months ago...it was a rhapsody for 5 instruments that lasted...about 5 minutes, lol.

I'd like to feel like I'm flying. Hang-gliding, wingsuiting, something to that effect. I'll probably wait until I'm old just in case.

I'd like to master the piano. I only really got good enough to pass Piano 3 in college. I'd like to make it my primary instrument.

I'd like to visit Athens, New Zealand, Spain and a couple other places.

I'd like to own multiple homes.

I'd like to finish writing a book for once.

Gaining the remotest understanding of musical composition and having a sexual encounter.
