I had no idea that Buddy Miles, one of the 60's best drummers and singers had passed away last year, damn what a loss, I had the rare privileage of seeing him preform twice, once with The Electric Flag, and one time with Band of Gypsies(with Hendrix) Here is video of the Band of Gypies

Great musician for sure; it's unfortunate, but with the recent passing of Mitch Mitchell all of the Hendrix sidemen are gone save for Billy Cox...
