OP: He seems to be playing very well but i don't know if that cymbal bashing is that good when you record though. Seems like distinct medium/hard hitting sounds the best. Totally annihilate the cymbals usually make them sound a bit out of control and harsh and don't bring the best out of the cymbals in terms of sound.
