Cage Last night

Cage kicked some serious ASS! I thought their performance was better than Progpower last year

It was a great show all around. Cage was the only band I was particularly familiar with, and I have to admit the thought had crossed my mind that the show might just be a bunch of crappy bands packed onto the bill playing before 1 or 2 good bands (as I've seen happen in the past), but nothing could have been further from the truth... *every* band cranked out heavy, melodic music and really delivered. It was a great night of metal. And it was cool to finally meet johan68 and drmetal8!

This pretty much sums up the Atlanta show, too...although I got there too late to see Veins Iced Over and saw only the last 2/3 of Brazen Angel's set.
Good night of metal, well-played, if a bit rushed. And that was certainly not Hoyt's fault.

Good meeting you too Sumeet. Several Progpower folks were there...Did you guys see that Wade Black was there too? Always good to see him.

I did talk with Wade for a while. He seems to have some interesting stuff going on. Not CG related though...
