Yea its cool, is that the actual Morningrise Bridge? cuz I've been to Wilton house/park a few times and I never realized

Looks the same as the one on moriningrise, but the pond/lake thing is alot smaller and there aren't nearly so many trees. But, the one on MR is probly like 7-10 years old.

Just pulled out my Mornigrise ( ) booklet, and yes that looks like it is indeed the same bridge... and about the lack of lake size and trees, notice how this is actually a pic of the side opposite the one on the cover. Just look past the bridge and you will see that the lake is actually pretty big. I'm guessing you were standing in front of the trees in the background, [GOTNO] Carrot? If they aren't actually there, they could have either been added to the picture or cut down I guess....

The Palladian bridge that is featured as the cover art for the Morningrise album is located in Prior Park, England.

it's surely not the morningrise bridge. there was not a lake either, it was just some small river. those brisges are a copy of the rialta bridge (it hasnt been built tho afaik) and therefore it's no surprise that they look quite alike...

Good pic, but not the bridge. The actual bridge is in Bath, im 99.9% sure. I think Mike was asked the question once, and he said it was somewhere in England, and that Lee Barrett sent him the pic. Maybe you should ask him.

yup the real bridge is in prior park, bath. there are several palladian bridges, all of them are copies.

There is another on in stowe gardens, buckinghamshire, and that one in wiltshire but the real one is in bath (near a place called fox hill... coincidence?)

as far as i know the one in wilton park was the first one to be built in england, in 1738, by the Earl of Pembrokshire and his architect Roger Morris.

The original design was by Andrea Palladio (hence the name), for the Rialto Brdige in Venice, but was never built there.
