can anyone help us book Aug. 4, 5, or 6 in Texas???

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't play that place....... I've been told by a few other bands that they fucked over DIMMU BORGIR when they came through on tour. Promised them $500 and refused to pay the total amount because the door cut wasn't met......It's rumoured he's screwed over a few other bands too, which is why most touring metal bands don't play there anymore. (or so I've been told.) Stay away from Dreamworld.

Hey Bjorn,....you guys can crash at my place and hang with me for a few days,....sucks to say it's a small apartment, but a floor is better than concrete,....or an uncomfortable seat in a van......or going broke from hotel payments.......Throw me an I.M. and we'll talk.

Also, considering you guys are already playing Houston, Corpus, and Ft Worth,......to guarantee a good turn out it'd be best to cover other areas, than play another town just down the street from where you played the night before......

Only places I can think of are,..... Austin, San Antonio, McAllen, Wichita Falls, ....or at least those are the heaviest in population.....As far as places.....

Austin - The Backroom
Austin - Emo's
San Antonio - The White Rabbit
Wichita Falls - The MAc Stack

I don't know much info on these clubs,....I've never delt with them before so I'm not sure if they pay good or no?......But they are good clubs in general, and most metal bands play these clubs. I don't have any contacts, numbers, or web address' to these places, but I'm sure they aren't too hard to look up.......idunno........

thanks for offering us a place to stay, it is greatly appreciated. We might have to take you up on that, since we have 3 days off and nothing to do in Texas. I'd rather play for free and sell some merch than sit on my ass and do nothing.

I e-mailed your booking agent a shitload of Texas show contacts a few weeks ago; I can see he used some of 'em for the shows that you guys already have. Many of them were for the clubs that Dylan just listed. The trouble is, a lot of clubs are already booked up during that time. But, if you guys are willing to play for free or for a small amount, that definitely gives you some more options. I can send some more "Ghetto-fabulous" contacts to Cartman if you'd like.
It sucks that we can't do more to help out with this. The trouble is, we'll just be getting back from the Milwaukee Metalfest during that time, so we all have to go back to work and school during that week. But I'm sure that we can figure something out for those 3 days. Let me know what you think.

Dreamworld is a great venue. John Tunnell, the dude that runs it, is bad ass. Twice at the last minute, he filled a date for my band, and ended up drawing a good size crowd. He does all his own advertising, and he built the entire venue from the ground up... literally. I'd advise at least talking to him. He's hilarious!

Hey JOHN and BJORN.....

I just remembered,....Ozzfest will be playing Dallas on Thursday August 5th. It'd be a rough fix but Road Rage might be able to talk you guys into playing for just that show on the second stage......It's probably hard as living hell to get booked with them, but being signed to Metal Blade's gotta be a plus.....It never hurts to try,....Plus even by playing for free you'd make a killing on merch at Ozzfest as well as expose yourselves to a new crowd.

Email road rage about that we are leaving shortly!

QUICK venue change, this venue is across from the death metal store called The Headstand.

i AM HOPING THERE IS A SCENE IN hARLINGTON! mc ALLEN, KIDS CAN come to that.

So you guys still need the 3rd, 4th and 6th, is that right? I'll call up Cartman sometime before we leave for Milwaukee. I'm sure we can figure something out.
So you guys are playing the Rangervile Ballroom, eh? Get ready for that! It definitely falls under the "ghetto" category that I was reffering too earlier. The fans are awesome though. This is one of those venues that gives you the chance to be direclty level with them.
