I just love RAINBOW DEMON, so anyone who's got absolutely any idea of what s/he's talking about, drop a post, ay?

they have so many bloody albums out, it's ahrd to choose: remastered or original pressing...?

I'd go for Demons and Wizards, as both Rainbow Demon and The Wizard (which Blind Guardian has covered) are on that one.

And of COURSE go for the remaster. The thing's 30 years old.

but stay away from the LATE 70's stuff... thats where they went downhill BIG time, before coming back again in the early 80's with ABOMINOG.

and actually.... I used to have em on LP and the CD version doesnt sound much different to me. They ruled even with now-outdated technology.
