I remember when I went to see Anderlecht(my old team), playing Benfica Lisbon for UEFA cup; riot police was dividing us with the water riot trucks, horses, fences and bottles were flying over the trucks back and forth.
Can somebody tell me what the big deal about soccer(football) is?

yeah its fucked up. i think teams should only have local players. it'd be easier to compare how good they are that way too.

anyway talking about hooligans, its amasing to know that the parisian team has a whole bunch of racist supporters. the stadium even has a whole section where all these skinhead/hooligans go and they hail and fight all the time. a campaign started agains racism in stadiums.. once i was walking around close to the stadium after a game and these supporters were throwing bananas at a bunch of scumbags (you know these guys dressed in fluorescent colors and who listen to rap..) and there were tons of cops seperating them. anyway i think there's the same problem for the supporters of the italian team of Alazio.
Yeah, Im pretty much Xenophobic now.

Screw other sports....HOCKEY is where it's at. Canada kicks all your asses and makes up for our crappiness in football, soccer, baseball, basketball, tennis...and virtually every other sport except golf. And golf is kick ass as well...And Canada ain't not bad at it with Mike Weir....

I had a funny experience in a Taxi in Paris once. The driver was african, but his name was Bernadotte right, so he was all "Je ma pelle Bernadotte ugabug, ugabuga mi relativé con el rey del Swede, ugabugga..." or something. The guy seriously thought he was related to the king of Sweden.
