Can someone have clue how to make drums like this

For long time I have love to these kind industrial/ ambient drum beat, but I don't get it how they are really made. In this video 2:05



I know that there is some kind sampled reverbed snare or something, but what with that morphing?

I remember having tried to do a similar thing some time ago...Try experimenting with some EQ like telephone effect or adding distortion too. Add some time effects like ping pong delay as well. Try these will a full snare hit or a lighter side hit. Even if you don't get 100% there you will definitely get some interesting sounds.

automating either a band pass or LPF would do that.

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/51222289/auto filter.mp3 slapped this together in 5 minutes. literally no reverbs or delays, just automating a low pass filter. but you get the idea, i think using delay on the snares and some verb would get you closer though.

I think it could be easily done by using several tracks, every one of them processed directly, and using one or the other for every kick or snare hit. Use any effect you want, at will
