I'm sick and I don't have dictionary at the moment so try to bear with my crappy English...
-----------------------------------
...started with rock I was playing as well as I could, meaning totally wrong, but starting with that attitude. When I was something like 11 years old I went to...my mom enrolled me to the music school at Espoo. I started to play classic guitar and I was there five years. Kari Äikäs was teaching me. After that I have continued playing classical guitar as a hobby every o now and then, when ever I feel like it and I have time. I have never really be interested in Jazz so it has mostly been heavy and violin style
and playing solos, trying to crate something new. I get lot of inspiration from classical music, I try to create like imaginary riffs, adventure themes, also something unique not just copying from other guys.

One riff can have more melodies than one song altogether. So its useful to draw from them, like from little pieces of classical music you can found lot of things too. Then there is also Punk things, you got to have attitude always.
<To what did you fell in love in guitars? Some opera stuff in background>
Distortion. It must be distortion. Now when I have been playing guitar for last 14 years almost every day, sometimes better sometimes reluctantly, I have been analyzing so many guitarist and learning from so many records that it is impossible to listen music as music only. Its kind of a bad thing also that I have huge filter in my head not everything is going through it.
If you wouldnt be guitarist, what would you do?
Airplane pilot. That has been my dream from little boy and still is. If I get tired of these things, its not worth of continuing, and then you have to do something else. Son it has been 2 times that seven years I should have started to do something else but I cant bear to do it.

<Have you broken your own limits?>
I dont know
usually I break limits in time tables, meaning that how much I can do for example in three months. This year Ill get five albums done, and then I have done Japan and European tour. I have this thing, I try to do something in certain time and then say to myself that really though guy <laughs>... Well one is the best what I did for Waltari, guys called me on previous night that Sami has fall down the stairs and hurt his head and is in hospital, could you come to help us in Copenhagen. I was like I dont even know any of your songs, but I can always try. SO I took quite a risk there. Then I was learning 14 songs by listening them from headphones in the plain. I hade something four hours time, from Töölö to Copenhagen and then to gig place, to learn them
DO you see yourself more like project guy, so you dont have to stick in anything too long?
No I dont want to be part of everything, I just do project that Im interested in. This is not that big money maker; of course sometimes you had to do something for money but the most are for fun.
What dreams you have that are not yet fulfilled in music?
Well, there is all the time new things coming which I get to do. This opera thing is also unbelievable. It would be nice to see Waltari getting bigger so it could be developed bigger stage shows. There is lot of potential in it.
<A lot of scrolling text that I didn't managed to read>
you are practicing and then you start doing something else and forgot guitar for a while and then if you have to start playing... I start to feel guilty if I take for example one week break from playing and after that playing just dont start rolling. I have to keep the touch all the time.
Of course sometimes I get tired of it, after doing same thing for years every one get tired sometimes. It depends if some things just stuck and you cant figure them out, or come up with any thing new and exciting then you are like
fuck it Ill do something else.
Its good to keep little break if things start to stuck, after a couple of week or even month and when you start playing again you have lot of new things in you mind.
What is most important thing for you that you get from music at the moment?
Gigs, I get lot of satisfaction from gigs. Something you just play so well that you can feel like electric current in your fingers and then studio work, when you do good job it is rewarding.
If you would compare the satisfaction that you get from guitar to something else, what would it be?
Totally drunk
I dont know maybe some kind of sexual experience
