I am trying to find out whether this di box (http://www.palmergear.com/pdi01.shtml) can handle amp speaker outputs. Have never tried this before so want to check before I commit to a purchase. I have tried to contact Palmer and a few of their stockists in the UK about this but they are being no help whatsoever. Essentially I want to connect it to a Marshall JCM900SLX speaker output, run the THRU into a dummy load and then run the balanced output into my interface (and into redwirez). Does anyone have a definitive answer for this? Thanks.

My BSS AR-133 has a 40db Pad, which the manual says is suitable for a speaker output, so going by that, yes...
But I'd send them a mail to check..

Yeah I figured the 40db pad would make it suitable for speaker level, but I wasn't too sure, I emailed the company a few days ago but they still haven't replied (lame).
