Canadian female-fronted melodic metal quartet, Boneyard, returns with their thunderous new single and video, “Compass Points To War”. This is the second single from their forthcoming sophomore album, Black Static , and it’s a hard-hitting anthem packed with high-seas fury and commanding energy.

“Compass Points To War” plunges listeners into the heart of a high-stakes sea battle, driven by energetic riffs, a fierce vocal performance from frontwoman Pamtera , thunderous gang vocals that echo each cannon blast, and a soaring melodic guitar solo. This track is essential listening for fans of Iron Maiden, Doro, and Halestorm.
Formed in 2015 by vocalist/guitarist Pamtera and drummer Jefftimus, Boneyard made their mark with their debut album Oathbreaker, which was re-released internationally by WormHoleDeath Records in 2022. The band has since released a string of powerful singles and videos, including “Fates Warning,” “Born Again,” and “Evil Ways.” The album was mastered by Grammy-nominated and Juno-winning engineer Maor Appelbaum ( Faith No More, Annihilator ).
Now joined by guitarist Garhardt and bassist/vocalist Lezzy Osbourne, the band’s evolution continues with Black Static, an album that promises to be heavier, sharper, and even more melodic.
Boneyard’s live presence has roared across Western Canada with performances at Decimate Metalfest, Schwabfest, and Shockerfest, and support slots for acts such as 96 Bitter Beings, Deadwolff, and Syryn.
