Two decades after its original release, Candlemass returns with a very special 20th Anniversary Edition of Candlemass (Polar Rough Mix) – a raw and unfiltered take on one of the band’s most essential works. This version captures the intensity, weight, and atmosphere of the album in its most direct form – a true gem for long-time fans of epic doom metal.

The reissue is presented on limited crystal clear/black/white splatter vinyl and on CD via Nuclear Blast Records on August 8. The album also contains four demo versions of tracks. Preorder at the Nuclear Blast webshop.

The self-titled album features the return of Messiah Marcolin behind the mic. The Swedes originally recorded the songs without any vocalists before auditioning three singers – Tony Martin, Mats Levén and Doogie White. They were turned down when Marcolin rejoined the band.
