How do the rest of the Candlemass releases compare to EDM?

candlemass are fucking awesome, one of the only bands (along with Nevermore) with that kinda vocal that i can really stand, and love.. all their albums are class, with either vocalist, totally love 'nightfall'... 'the well of souls' is one of the best songs ever.. even nile ripped some of it off on 'in their darkened shrines' album..

yey, so it wasn't just me who thought/noticed that!! i was well shocked.. i still really like nile, but after seeing them twice and not being particularly impressed and the impact of the last album compared to 'catacombs' and 'black seeds' wasn't as hefty either.. BUT.. having said that, i still cannot wait for them to play my home town (Leeds) on the 11th March, although it IS with dying fetus and necrophagist.. one of the best line ups we've ever seen here!!

candlemass are awesome! the only band I used to do note for note, they are so slow, sadly every album I got is in tape form and I have no tape player.

 

[Lies and Perfidy]

"A Sorcerer's Pledge" is one of the 20 or so greatest songs of all time. And the rest of their output ain't half bad, either, or really anything less than "fucking great". Chapter VI is an underrated album, methinks. In general, totally deserving of all the worship they get.

Tales Of Creation is my personal favorite. Awesome band!

i really enjoy solitude from them, epicus is nicely done! check solitude aeturnus if you like this kind of sound.
