Back On Black Records has announced the June 20 reissues of the Cannibal Corpse classics Butchered At Birth, Hammer Smashed Face, and Worm Infested, on CD, cassette and 12″ vinyl formats.
Butchered At Birth was voted Cannibal Corpse’s Best Album on the Metal Blade website. Butchered At Birth features some immense songs by the only band to feature in Ace-Ventura for 30 splitting seconds! This album is worth a place in any good death metal collection.

Hammer Smashed Face, the long out of print first EP by Cannibal Corpse released in 1993 through Metal Blade Records, is now available on CD, cassette and 12″ vinyl formats. The seminal release features the beloved title song “Hammer Smashed Face” which was famously featured in the 1994 comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, along with killer covers of songs by Black Sabbath and Possessed.

Worm Infested is a compilation EP of tracks recorded between 1996 and 2001, featuring previously unreleased outtakes along with killer covers of songs by Accept, Possessed and Metallica.

Cannibal Corpse recently announced their North American headlining tour this fall. The journey will commence on September 15 in Nashville, Tennessee and make its way through over two dozen cities, the tour drawing to a close on October 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Support will be provided by Municipal Waste and Fulci. The tour follows the band’s recent North America run with Meshuggah.
