Mixing our album and becoming good friends with Dan and Justin of SikTh, a band I'd long admired.

Getting a great UK record deal through Basick records, which also have some really good bands on the label.

Livin' the dream

Being booked a couple months ahead, having 2 tours ahead (1 with aborted and one as a soundguy through south america with goddethroned/elexorien), having mixed a shitload of good venue's and festivals and having seen a large part of the world (and being only 21) is one big highlight allready!

But looking at it now, everything i do still has to improve in every frikkin way haha

My career highlight thus far has been jamming with Joey (Life of Agony) and Dan (Anthrax) and playing both LOA and Anthrax songs with them!

My upcoming highlight will be performing with my band The Judas Syndrome at Blender Theater (NYC) on 6/23/09 and opening for Sworn Enemy and Pro-Pain!

More to come!!!!!!!!

Reading through the other posts made me realize I missed a very important one:
Receiving a Pantera "Far Beyond Driven" Gold Plaque with my name on it for helping out with the promotion back when I worked for Atlantic Records and then hanging out with all of Pantera!

-Being in a band and being the guy who gets to record/mix/master our stuff and have complements made towards your work by both press and fans alike.

-being in a no name band from a no name town in the middle of no name Indiana and being able to share the stage and meet bands I dig and look up to in terms of success/accomplishments, and my band maintaining relationships with some of the dudes in said bands.

Arch Enemy
Chimaira
DevilDriver
Hate Eternal
God Forbid
Unearth
All that Remains
Lamb of God
Hatebreed
Anthrax

I know I'll never be able to do what they do, or at that level, but it's been cool to experience a tiny tiny bit of what they go through (big, appreciative crowds, etc.) as well as meet some really, really down to earth dudes.

do you guys have any local-ish dates coming up?

i live in richmond, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for me to come check you guys out...

Supporting Steven Segal's band in Glasgow. Hahaha Cock Puncher :p

Hanging out with Dino Cazares in Glasgow was totally sureal as well , he may or may not be asshole (personally i thought he was a great dude) but he totally influenced my guitar playing

You live in Richmond?!?!?!?!

I think I knew that, now that I think about it. I worked at Reid Hospital there for 3 1/2 miserable years.

We are playing a church ran venue/building this Saturday in New Castle with Ghost of Maine and some other bands...Don't know a thing about the venue, though, and I live in New Castle, lol...Work in Indy, though, and never get out much in town. Not sure how the show will go as far as turnout goes, but the promoter said it should be "big"...Also, the idea of playing in a church ran venue is daunting, but meh, it's a show!

I'd say easily the biggest moment in my musical life was getting to support Slayer/Trivium/Mastodon/Amon Amarth for my bands 5th gig. Something I will never forget.
