I prefer The Haunted to both of them but between those two I'll say Carnal Forge.
I think Inward is the only interesting DS album and even that only has a few good songs (BIT-TER CON-FLICT!) but I dont think Carnal Forge are much better.

Dew Scented without question, although Carnal Forge rock too. I love Inward, and I reckon it just tops Please...Die! in terms of energy and furiosity.

Dew Scented - Carnal Forge are a little rough, their songwriting isn't as good and their production is weaker.

I don't think either are all that great, but I quite like 'Inwards'. It has some oddly likable tunes and a cool fluttery double bass production. So...Dew Scented.

Carnal Forge just sounds like one big blur to me. Dew Scented is the closest I can find to a new band with the style of old Slayer, Overkill, old Testament, and the like.

I totally agree with you MacMoney, Carnal especially are totally lacking in originality. At least one of the worst bands at doing the swedish death/thrash, which is already being flooded with enough crap like this....

Dew scented are decent but nothin really special imo....

One day when I was purchasing some CD's, it came down to me choosing between:

Dew Scented - Inwards

or

Carnal Forge - Please Die

I'm glad I chose Dew Scented - Inwards. Damn that album Rocks It Out! I've heard the Carnal Forge album and it's okay. In my opinion, there are a lot of Carcass Heartwork era ripoffs, and of course the band's name is taken from the song titled Carnal Forge off the Heartwork album (See BW&BK issue #57 for an article about the band and their name.)
