Carnifex, anyone listen to Hell Chose Me?

I have to chime in and say that Zack is a total blast to work with. I have yet to hear the Carnifex mix in question, but seeing how willing Zack is to work with a client's wishes, i'm sure any weirdness was probably due to a musician asking for something a bit strange, when they don't know the affect it will have on the rest of the mix. I believe my band (Better Left Unsaid) was Zack's very next project after Carnifex, and we couldn't be happier with our mix. It was also cool that Zack didn't seem to get too annoyed with me and my stupid geeky audio nerd questions, haha.

Definitely an out-of-the-ordinary mix, which is a great refresher from all of the SturgisXCore mixes which sounds like crap IMO
The bass line at :15 on the opening track is kind of funny though.
But overall the mix works pretty well with all of the elements.
"Diseased And The Poisoned" was definitely easier on the ears.
But its still a great mix nonetheless.
Great to hear some originality in a terribly exploited genre/sub-genre of music

Why would you even bring JS up? He had nothing to do with anything in this thread.

That being said, why are bashing his stuff? Did you not post a thread asking how to do some of his production work with the "huge snare"?

Edit: sorry just getting annoyed with how often Joey is brought up when he doesnt need to be (I don't think I'm the only one). I mean I think some of JS's mixes are flawless but cmon he gets brought up in every fucking thread. Why can't we keep it on topic?
