Case for Mesa Roadster

I'm looking for a cases for a mesa roadster head. Initially its just for storage. The head will need to stay dry and safe in storage for a couple months. Later, when I'm setup I need to ship it overseas to the new place so it needs to be sturdy enough for getting tossed around. Ideally I'd like to keep it below $250US. Suggestions?

Since it's not going on tour and you don't need quick access I'd say you'd be fine with a lid-style case.

Is 1/4" ply sufficient for shipping?

I would say so; the thing to worry about would be puncture/breaking. That with cardboard around it should be more than fine.

Not in the least. I'm moving back to Sweden, it's been in the works for a while now. Too far away from family, sick of the climate here and I want the kids to grow up with a different perspective. I'll be either in the far north or Stockholm.
