Casiopea is a killer Japanese fusion band from the 80's, with a very talented bass player by the name of Tetsuo Sakurai...the song I recorded is from the very first album they released in 1979, but apparently they have a lot of discography through the 80's and even then 90's...a lot of pretty cool obscure stuff to be heard.

I love that song too, that's the kind of shit I grew up with... not too far off from Kazumi Watanabe or Grover Washington Jr.. Badass man!

I also love casiopea, and the whole japanese fusion scene.

don´t forget their other bass player (after tetsuo): yoshihiro naruse, badass slap on an 8 string, and the other sakurai projects (jimsaku, gentle hearts, tetsujino)

this is close enough to kazumi watanabe stuff like he's been on several guest appareances with jimsaku and also casiopea I think, really great player btw
