I haven't heard much of In Flames, but its obvious that they did NOT write Silhouette, so Opeth wins automatically.

I was a fan of In Flames before Opeth, and I still enjoy both a lot. Being that they're entirely different styles I have to say it depends. When I want something heavy, catchy, and something to head-bang to, I'd go with In Flames. When I want to hear some beautiful melodies, emotional singing, and just plain beauty, I'd go with Opeth.

Everyone on here seems cool, so I don't want to piss anyone off, but I can't stand In Flames. The only thing I like by them is Lunar Strain. It just sounds stale to me after that, and I really can't get into their newer shit.
