Some serious ass news in the world of Cattle Decapitation
First off, the new video for Cattle Decapitations Reduced To Paste is now available online for download! It is being hosted HERE. Directed by Adam Grabarnick; Filmed in May 2005.
NEW ALBUM WRITING UPDATE
Since weve been home, we recorded the Caninus split 7(available now! Thanks for your patience) and have so far written 8 songs for our next album, which are turning out to be very bizarre (exactly how we like it). Picture the new Caninus split material, just longer. Were going to keep the name of the album to ourselves for a while, but lets just say its a bit of a departure, but still very Cattle. Weve conferred with Wes Benscoter and he will continue as the artist that so greatly visualizes what were about. Were not going to try to outdo ourselves as far as grotesqueness, because if you ask me, the cover to Human Jerky (our first record) cannot and will not be topped so whatever, opinions are like assholes, and you know what they say Anyways were pretty damned tired of our albums getting banned everywhere so were going to make sure theres no buttholes or anything on the cover of the next one. Weve noticed the United States and Europe REALLY hate buttholes.
We enter the studio in February of 2006. Well have MR. BILLY ANDERSON (Mr. Bungle, Swans, Neurosis, Impaled) himself producing this monstrosity and we hope to have it out at the beginning of Summer 2006 preceded and followed by our brand of ridiculous amounts of touring! Were also adding a second guitar player for the first time in Cattle history! Hell be our rhythm guitarist and will be announced at the beginning of the year. Dont bother asking, because were not going to tell you who he is.
