San Diego-based deathgrind masters CATTLE DECAPITATION will enter Dave Otero's Flatline Audio studio in Colorado in early 2015 to begin recording the follow-up to 2012's "Monolith Of Inhumanity", tentatively due later next year via Metal Blade Records. The collaboration between CATTLE DECAPITATION and Otero promises to compound on the exercises in melodic extremity that have vaulted the band to the top of the extreme metal heap. CATTLE DECAPITATION is giving fans one final chance to see them live, and to hear new songs, before they begin to track their upcoming album. Comments CATTLE DECAPITATION vocalist Travis Ryan: "We've been hard at work on the new album for the past year and are currently writing the last song for it. "[We're] happy to announce we will be playing this string of shows with our friends THEORIES. After the shows, we'll spend five weeks recording the new album once again with Dave Otero! "Don't miss these shows; we will be playing loads of new material at them!" "Monolith Of Inhumanity" sold around 2,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 6 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. Released on May 8, 2012, "Monolith Of Inhumanity" was produced by Dave Otero of Denver's Flatline Audio and sees the band exploring innovative new techniques in songwriting without abandoning their signature formula of confrontational audio wreckage and self-loathing lyrical content. CATTLE DECAPITATION is: Travis Ryan: Vocals Josh Elmore: Guitar Dave McGraw: Drums Derek Engemann: Bass
