Cattle Decapitation

They're average death metal/borderline goregrind, at best. Drums are INCREDIBLY monotonous (anyone can play that beat), riffs are pretty OK, vocals ANNOY ME TO HELL. Overall, I listen to some songs every now and then, but otherwise, it's boring.

I heard some samples but it really wasn't enough to get me to buy the albums. I'm not too big on grind and I'm picky about the death.

Haha, well, ok, that's nice of you to imply that I have a substantial knowledge anyway, but still, please mention some deathgrind that you like in preference to Cattle Decapitation. I wouldn't say it's unlikely at all that you may like a band I haven't heard.

TYAG only have a demo, and I'm friends with the singer. Album should be this year, at least they are hoping.

Haven't heard the others. I also recommend Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition.

Best Malignancy album is Intrauterine Cannibalism, but their newest EP, "Cross-Species Transmutation", is also amazing. Definitely check them out.

Yeah, I just got the "Fuck the Commerce" fest from 2002 on VHS. Malignancy are on it, and they fucking RULE live.

I like Cattle Decapitation better than SCD....not saying the latter is bad at all though. =) I should be getting their debut sometime....it's been ordered for months now.
