do hole-punches in the UPC bother any one else as much as me?

And what do they mean? Some say overstocl. SOme say they represent promos.

Yep, they suck. I've seen them for promos and used CDs, but I've also seen black marker crossing out the UPCs as well.

Hole punches are for promo CDs. 95% of the promos I get are hole-punched. It only bothers me if somebody doesn't tell me about it, and I pay for something I'm expecting to be "like new".

NAD: Gorerotted - $5 . . . since it was a promo. Does that sound fair? That includes shipping and the price of the NEW jewel case I put it in.

Yes. Hole punches suck, but if somebody wants a near perfect CD for $5, I don't see a problem with them.

I've had to leave negative feedback twice when somebody sent me a "like new" or "mint" CD with a hole punched UPC. That's just wrong!

$5 for that as well.

But be warned that NAD just took my last CD envelope, so I might not be able to get any more until next weekend. I'll see what I can come up with before then, though.

Have you heard Rue?

Here's my review:

$5 for it as well. No pressure to buy, though. I'm a no pressure salesman.
You motherfucker! lol Dayum, I'll take Rue too! Sending the money right now.:Smokin:

Btw, why does a hole-punched in the UPC really bother you guys? All I care about is the music and condition of the disc, and secondly, the condition of the book. A hole punched in the UPC doesnt bother me at all. :)

A hole in the barcode doesn't bother me at all, as long as it is pointed out in the description though, as npearce previously said. I would want to pay substantially less knowing that the item was once a freebie/promo.
