Charlie not playing

Does anyone know why Charlie is sitting out a few dates of the Kings tour? The gig in Sweden, Umeå had for instance Jon Dette behind the kit (who did an awesome job btw)

As above,it won't affect the show but understand as a fanboy that it kinda sucks
