Cheapest 2560x1600 monitor?

Guys, this was over a fucking year ago, I don't think it's still a relevant issue.

WHY do people necro threads like this? What is the goddamn point of signing up just to revive a year old thread?

1080p is 1290x1080 and that's basically what he was asking for. And oops didn't notice the OP was that long ago...




Edit: I don't know if I was drunk when I said that was almost the same resolution or what... Ignore me...
 
You could look at Double-Sight monitors, they are usually under $700 and high quality. I have a DS-263N and it's 26.5-inches and an NEC IPS panel. IPS panels are what they use in the Apple monitors. They have better viewability from all angles. Most cheap monitors are going to have bad vertical viewing angle which could be a problem depending on how you're seated in front of your studio desk. I think when I bought mine there was some special deal on Newegg and it was $400. Just look for deals on hardforum.com or slickdeals.net
