I had my friend-with-benefits, Will, over today and we were sitting, talking, and we got to religion. I said that I didn't believe there was anything up there, no God or anything, and he said that that was sad ... not like talking down to me because I don't believe in what he believes in, but ... I guess it's just like you either believe in God or you don't and when you don't you should. I told him that it was because of Cathoilc school, but I hate saying that because it feels like I'm making excuses for the way I am, when I shouldn't have to regret a part of what I am. I shouldn't feel bad about not believing in God any more than he or any other Christian should feel bad about believing in God.
