This is the launch video for the Lotus Formula 1 team:


I swear the very beginning is a rip-off of the beginning of Within Temptation's Mother Earth, followed by a bit of rip-off of Kamelot's March of Mephisto, then the rest of the music is kind of a Nightwish rip-off. What do you think? Is it music from a known artist (just unknown to me)?

Awesome video. Awesome colors on the new Lotus. Awesome background music.

Formula 1 is going to be super awesome this year. Every team should have a prog/power/death/symphonic metal soundtrack. It would be epic!

Pretty sweet. Reminds me of the music for the 2009 cable show commercials for The Tutors, sounds like Within Temptation.

First I've seen of these trailers, new movie looks kick ass.
As for the Formula1 commercial, I have no idea....

Doing some searching on the interwebs - the CotT song is called "The Bird and the Worm" by The Used.

The trailers do look awesome - can't wait to go see this movie.

Me either. I saw the second, longer trailer, along with the trailer for The Lightning Thief -- there were a LOT of pissed-off gods and demigods running around in that theater -- right before Avatar.


I remember seeing the trailers for Hellboy II and thinking "Hey, cool! That's Dimmu Borgir's 'Progenies of the Great Apocalypse'!"

I watched the original Clash of the Titans obsessively, so when I saw a trailer for the remake while waiting for Sherlock Holmes to start, I pretty much started to squee with glee. And earned some strange glances form people sitting near me.

Can't wait to see it as well. I also used to watch Clash of the Titans with Harrys animated creatures obsessively as a kid as well. Had the lunchbox too, and the figures Then again I also watched Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Sho Kosugi Ninja movies, and many other movies obsessively as a kid as well. Usually had the figures for them too lol.

Haha, I think I had that one too, both are..I mean.. were cool.. back then. That's crazy. I wonder how many of my friends have seen it. I posted the trailers but only one person stated they knew about the classic. I'll ask them all flat out if they've seen the original. Man I wonder how much the figures go for in collectors circles. Wish I still had them.
