Revenant is an amazing new band. Their female lead singer was a refreshing change of pace from the usual grunt and growl of the local metal scene and managed to go through their entire set without sounding like a rip-off of Evanescence, Nightwish or Lacuna Coil, which is a trap that female-led metal bands frequently fall into. Their singer, Ariella, has a brilliant, rich voice that juxtaposed wonderfully with the crunch of the two guitarists, and despite the fact that this was only their second show the whole band meshed very well. support this great new local band!!!
