At the start, when you can hear like the hand hitting the acoustic for a "cool percussion effect". I FUCKING HATE THAT SHIT. I hear it all the time when people play acoustic and it fucking grates my nerves like nothing else. FUCK OFF ACOUSTIC GUITAR PERCUSSION BULLSHIT. DIE.

Hahahahahahha, while I agree about most people who use it these days are lame coffee-shop hipsters who should be vaporized (FA-CHOW!!!), it can be cool when used by flamenco people, the originators of the technique if I'm not mistaken.

Agreed, fuck him, and fuck Passenger  Though if Bjorn and Jesper wanted to do something about it, I'm sure they would've, so Anders can't totally be to blame...

From what Nordstrom said, they'd wanted to make the change collectively for a long time. He was the one trying to hold them back to fulfill their 'obligation to the fans'.

That makes sense. One of the things I've noticed is that there is a lot of quality guitar writing still intact in the newer In Flames material that is very similar to their old material. What differs is that the song structures are tailored to fit Anders' strange melodic vocal explorations, and that a lot of the cooler instrumental bits are cut short to accommodate the drive to return to the "big chorus."

I would like the newer In Flames albums a lot more if they stopped trying to write "radio edit" versions of their songs as the album versions. It's amazing how a change in vocal style and song structure can significantly change the overall feeling of the music like this, even though in most other ways In Flames hasn't changed their style at all.

His other covers arent bad either. i asked him either he is also a member in this forum... 'i never heard of any sneap's forum'. :Puke:
