Check This 8 String Mix (Input Needed)

Hi guys, Im recording this band and Im now in the mixing stage and I wanted to get some input. I know were I stand, but I wanted to see what you guys think needs work or is going good. I tracked with a 6505 with a hint of EVH lll. Oh I through on FGx for a louder mix. Thanks for your support and help...

I don't like the snare, no punch only a dry woody knock. Bass is loud and probably a bit low end heavy. I think the dry vocals fit quite good though.

Lot of low end junk happening. not just mud, but your entire low end has no definition. Did you let the vocalist cup the mic?

Well the bass Gtr is the hardest thing in the mix. I still need to work on it more, plus yeah the issue with the snare I'm not 100% with it, I like the tone but it lacks something, body and punch. I'm pretty sure the singer cup the mic it was a sm7b but I don't know how many times... Thanks for the input. I still have a lot to go.

Lot of low end junk happening. not just mud, but your entire low end has no definition. Did you let the vocalist cup the mic?

The mix sounds good at low lvl but the FGx did effect the sound...

guitars and bass seems ok to me.
I think drums need a bit of work. they sound quite raw and without punch

Ok I worked on the bass gtr and fixed up its mud. I also changed up the snare a bit... Slap it hard if it sucks.
