Not sure why they used the lowest level Shure mics.. would have been nice to compare Beta52 and 56's, or even SM's. Would have been nice to hear the audio too instead of just a description.
There was a post on some forum someone recommended, I have the link saved in my history somewhere, if anyone wants it. Basically had about 12 different mics on kick and snare, with actual audio files for each. Dont think it had a D6 or an i5 but it was good to hear the samples like that.
