I could easily pull the trigger if it were something I truly believed in morally and ethically...but then again, so do Muslims. It's all perception. What one person feels as being extremely important and a moral imperative, another may feel it is trivial and a waste of time.
I wish harm to no man on this earth...unless said person crosses me in a way that is unforgiveable. Then his/her life becomes something of an ant to me. Not that I would seek out to purposely harm this person, but I care not whether this person lives or dies. It's the natural order of things, and more people actually should die to make this world a more liveable place. Culling the herd.
I don't like war, not because I'm some tree-hugging hippie, but because I've seen it first hand and I know that hell really does exist on earth. Although diplomacy can only go so far, it goes a lot farther than most people think. You never see veterans of wars and conflicts eager to go back...it's usually people who have no clue what war is about, no clue how the world works, no clue how the military works, no clue what it's like to be fired upon in conflict, and basically are trying to portray some type of macho, patriotic image. That isn't patriotism...that's being an idiot. It runs rampant in the US because the US doesn't know what it's like to fight a war on it's own soil...it's completely different going to another country, wreaking havoc and kicking ass, and then coming home in time for The Family Guy.
