????????Chicks????????

I haven't seen any on this forum. Sylvia Massy has done some cool stuff, but other than her I haven't heard of many female audio engineers, although there are some. We actually have quite a few girls in the production major at Berklee, teachers and students, but none of them are into metal. ;)

Yes, that last part is the doozy - and metal chicks (generally) are not the most desirable demographic anyway (though I've definitely seen exceptions, mostly from Europe). There was one chick here for a little while from France; I think her name was Arkasiana...

I know quite a few female live engineers who work at a pro level.. One of em used to do Dragon force (say what you want about em but its a bigger gig than most of us here have done) and another is off with some pop act soon and was head tech at her venue in London.

right, i did that gig last night with this 'female engineer' lol
it was her night, but she asked me down so i can get some more experience:)
and she was good:) i enjoyed talking to her, but u can really tell that her insane love with Led Zeppelin and The Who influences her personal taste to mixing.

and i'm sure i saw a female on this forum a few months back... there was a comment about women, and this random suddenly fought up in defense about herself being a woman.

have no idea what it was about, or from what post... but i do remember thinkin, ''holy shit, its a woman'' haha
