Hoi folks!

I've began to be more and more interested in chemistry these last weeks, and I ask you guys: "What is your favorite element?"
I'd also like you to say some reasons 'why'.

To help:

It's been too long since I took a chemistry class, but Mg, C, and H are ace. Why? H and C, H because it is like a unit element, C because it is used in explaining the Mol concept, Mg because it has +2 valenzelektronen. (OK that was stupid  )

The one fave would be C I guess, because mol concept rules!

H cos thats number one. But gold is good too.. C as for life.. Oxygene is also nice.. and He is funny, i breathed it some weeks ago to make my voice funny haha.. and S, well, Sulfur is a nice katatonia song. But in general I prefer compounds. Like H2O.

hmm i'd go for H, and C...C is everywhere..well sort of..oh and Ca, and Li..Li is number 3 my fav numb..and part of me name:)

sulfuric acid, nitric acid, water and toulene. the ingredients you need to make TNT. :)

Yay... Good to have some answers. I must say I also favorize a lot of the same elements as you guys. But Quicksilver is a nice one, that's because it's not hard to make in both liquid and air + poisoness... Reminds of nitrogene in liquid form, which's about -197C. That's pretty nice

ah chemistry :Spin: there was this teacher in belgium that had an accident with making gunpowder 2 weeks ago. never ever try. its too dangerous when you dont have to measuring right... i mean i studied chemistry and even our chemistry teacher never showed us. so ffs, dont.

and for my fave element it must be P. ah man that was big fun. when you take one piece it just gets burning when it gets in contact with the air :D

I'd prefer the elements in terms of fire, air, earth and water.. My fav is definitelly water.. silence, peace, floating, total freedom, relaxing... words just cannot describe it

It was one of the most beautiful experiences.. floating at around 20m and looking up to the surface... nothing can touch you there.. it's just "safe" *wants back down :( *

Hmmm, don't do this to me, I'll have a chemistry class in the university now, it's begining next week. And by the way, WHAT A FUCKIN SUBJECT!! :):):D But anyway, I suppose H and Cl would do for me. For some reason I always liked HCl, so these two elements are nice for me. Maybe Na as well. And of course H, C and He are also cool. POWER in all forms ;)
