there's like no high end in the bass tone you linked.

First off, get some really bright strings like D'addario Pro Steels. Run it through the 'bass overdrive' pedal in Pod Farm, but only really for the body. Duplicated the Pod Farm track and sticka 500Hz high pass on it, and add the screamer after it. This second track is the grind track. Blend till its grindy as balls
