CLA classic compressors, worth it ?

So I was thinking of buying this pack, but I first I would like to hear how people feel about them.

I know ermz have praised them alot, but now that the honeymoon has far passed I was wondering if they still are worth the price tag and gets used in the work flow ?

Best comps on the market, you also get four different flavours (2x 1176, LA2A, LA3A) all with the same great quality. Worth every penny.

Personally I think they are hard to beat, they will be around for a few years yet.

Why don't you just demo them and see for yourself if they work for you.

Yeah I still use them after I run out of outboard 1176s. The LA-2 and LA-3 are large features on acoustic instruments and backing vox for me. Usually default to the 1176 on snare and kick parallel duties (mind, the SSL Bus Comp may actually be better here, I need to do more A/B) and to annihilate room mics. Usually a secondary 1176 on bass guitar too (for rock music).

So they definitely get their fair share of use. I don't regret buying them. Probably the best & most useful pack Waves have done since the SSL bundle.

Definitely worth it, they're just awesome. I use the 3A all over my mixes
