Here's some news for all fans of eighties heavy metal – Sweden's classic heavy metal band Overdrive has now released all the early recordings for digital purchase through CDBaby, iTunes etc. All three releases have TONS of bonus material!

Reflexions, originally released in 1981, was only a 5-track MLP, but now has 10 bonus tracks! The band's first demo, two non-album compilation tracks as well as another 6-track demo. Available here: www.cdbaby.com/cd/overdrive23

Metal Attack, the band's first LP from 1983 features 5 pre-production rehearsal demos featuring two tracks that didn't go on the album. Available here: www.cdbaby.com/cd/overdrive24

I have the CD versions of these that were reissued a few years back. This is absolutely killer '80s metal. Pretty much the Swedish take on the NWOBHM sound.
