Hello,

Wanted to share my latest project. Been buying some new drums microphones and the results are stunning. These are real toms btw :)
The vocals hasn't been edited yet, and they need be mixed in more so they glue better with the rest.

Any opinions on the mix? I've been thinking of a little less mids on the guitars and raise the snare a bit??

Note: Don't mind the bad edits etc, it will all be fixed.

loving the toms on the intro, in fact I'm enjoying the drums in general, but they need to come up some more, guitars are much louder. I agree I would take a tiny bit of mids from the guitars but not too much as the middy guitars really fit with the vocal style for some reason, it's just maybe a tiny bit too nasal. Good stuff!

what'd you use for the toms, bro?? sick as FUCK!! =D

GTR's still sound a little stuffy, a bit lack of precision... did you mic with LDC-type in there somewhere? =D

Drums are sick. I'd kick a ton more room in there for certain parts but that's just me =D

Thats actually real toms, no triggers :)
About the guitars, i kind of think the fit the rest of the mix, so im thinking of keeping them that way, perhaps with a little more body. No LDC, only 2sm57's. Boosted around 3k and 8k.
